CARNEY — The Carney-Nadeau volleyball team swept a match against Forest Park on Thursday. 

“We had a very balanced game today,” coach Steve Kedsch said. “We served well, our defensive players did a good job of getting the ball to the setters and we didn’t have a lot of unforced errors. Just an overall good match.”

The Wolves took the first game 25-13 and then won the last two by a score of 25-14. 

Talisha McCullough led Carney-Nadeau with 10 assists and added six digs and four aces. Alanis Harris led the team with 10 digs to go along with four kills and four aces to tie McCullough for the team-high. Taylor Kedsch had eight kills and five digs, Lianna Blahnik had three kills, three digs and two blocks, Ashlyn Hansen had two kills and two blocks and Layla Blahnik-Thoune had a nice all around game with nine assists, five digs, three aces and three kills. 

Carney-Nadeau is back on the road on Tuesday for a matchup with North Central that starts at 6:30 p.m.
