MENOMINEE — Jordan Rasner shot a 2-under-par 70 on the final day to beat out Jeff Busick Jr. by 2-strokes at the North Shore Golf Club Championship on Saturday and Sunday.

Busick was the leader after day one in the championship flight when he shot an opening-round 72 to take a 3-stroke lead on Rasner and a 4-stroke lead on third-place finisher Thad Badker, but a 75 on day two came back to hurt him. Badker shot 78 on the final day to assume third place.

Fred Hofer Jr. won the first flight by shooting a 162 total to win by five strokes over Mike Malmstadt. Gary Smith picked up a third place finish with his 173.

Ginny Malmstadt won the women’s championship flight by shooting 86-88 for a 174 total.

In the junior championship, Brady Badker took first and Matt Mellinger came in behind him.
