STEVENS POINT, Wis. — Marinette's Jonte Webb tied for fourth on the UW-Stevens Point football team with 18 points this past season.

Webb, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound sophomore wide receiver, played in nine games. He caught six passes for 49 yards and three touchdowns. In the team's Nov. 4 21-14 loss to River Falls.

He is an accounting and business management major.

MILWAUKEE — Coleman brothers Joe and Jody Styczynski made an impact on the Wisconsin Lutheran College football team this season.

Both played in all 10 games. Joe, a 5-foot-11, 185-pound junior linebacker, made 20 tackles and 11 assists. He had one sack, three tackles for a loss, forced three fumbles and broke up a pass.

Jody, a 5-10, 163-pound sophomore defensive back, made 24 tackles and 11 assists, and broke up a pass. He returned five kickoffs for 69 yards.

Both are Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference scholar athletes, and both are majoring in business administration.

MARINETTE — Five winners were crowned at the 46th annual Marinette Elks Hoop Shoot on Dec. 9 at Marinette Middle School.

The winner in each age group advances to district competition, to be held in Oconto on Jan. 13. Winners are determined on the basis of free throws made out of 25 attempts.

The Elks Hoop Shoot is a national free throw shooting contest sponsored by the Elks for boys and girls ages 9-13. There is no charge for competing.
