Booster Club planning fan bus
MENOMINEE — The Menominee Booster Club is working on a fan bus to the football game against Sault Ste. Marie Oct. 6.
The cost will be $31, and the bus will load at 1 p.m. and leave at 1:15.
To sign up call Marye at (715) 938-2413. Payment can be made at the athletic office.
It will be known Wednesday whether there are enough people to make the trip.

Maroon middle-schoolers win
CARNEY — Menominee’s seventh- and eighth-grade girls’ basketball teams defeated Carney-Nadeau on Thursday.
Haley Bouty had 16 points, 10 rebounds and three steals for the Maroon seventh-graders in a 28-8 win. Piper Monroe added five points, eight boards and three assists. Attica Brandt scored a basket.
For Carney, Hailey DeGrave and Kaitlyn Jackson each scored two points.
Rylee Doyle had a big all-around game for Menominee’s eighth-graders in a 47-17 win. She had 12 steals, six assists, six rebounds and 12 points. Anna Nerat had 15 points and Madison Derusha scored eight.
Tessa Wagner led Carney with 11 points and Vicky Mair scored four.
