Hornets golf outing rescheduled

MENOMINEE — The second annual Menominee Hornets golf outing has been rescheduled to Thursday at North Shore Golf Club.

The cost is $60 per person and $240 per team and includes green fees, cart, dinner and raffle prize tickets. There will be 50/50 raffles, a skins game and prizes. There is a limit of 30 teams. There will be a 1 p.m. shotgun start.

There are three hole-in-one prizes, including $10,000 in cash, a Pioneer side-by-side and a lawn mower. Sponsors include include State Wide Real Estate, Keith Mattson, North Honda Motor Sports and Cozzy’s Polaris.

Meissner named to All-Star team

Coleman’s Mariana Meissner was selected to play in the annual Senior All Star Series put on by the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association held in Wisconsin Dells on June 12-13.

199 total seniors were named to 17 different teams and split up between 5 divisions. Players met their coaches and had practice the morning of June 12th and were recognized at a banquet with their families during the night. All games were played on June 13th.
