BRIMLEY, Mich. — The Stephenson football team stayed undefeated with a 58-34 victory Friday over Brimley. 

The Eagles (4-0) were down 14-12 at the half but outscored Brimley 46-20 in the second half to come away with the win.

Stephenson’s star running back Montell Glover continued his outstanding senior season by racking up 313 yards and six touchdowns and he also threw a touchdown to Merlin Thoune to reclaim the lead at 34-28 just before the third quarter ended. 

Glover closed out the game by scoring on a 45-yard touchdown run to open the fourth and a 39-yard run later in the quarter to push the Eagles lead to 50-34. Collin “Doogie” Hauser scored the final touchdown of the game on a three-yard run to seal the deal for Stephenson. 

Hauser backed up Glover’s big night with 11 carries for 125 yards and a touchdown and Jimmy Coldren ran for 55 yards on seven touches.
