COLEMAN — The Cougars volleyball team (5-5, 4-2 M&O) took a 3-0 win over Gillett (2-6, 1-5 M&O) on Tuesday.

The Tigers pushed the Cougars to the brink in the first two sets, falling with scores of 27-25 and 25-23 before Coleman closed out the match with a 25-18 win.

Brooklyn Seals led the Cougars with five kills while Kailey Klimek finished with four. Caitlin Huberty, Cameron Compe and Maria Nowak each notched three kills. Huberty added eight assists, while Klimek and Lauren Osterberg each had three blocks.

Gillett was led by Aubrey DeBauch’s seven kills. Karissa Schaal had a big night defensively for the Tigers with 20 digs, and Emily Umentum finished with 14 assists.

Coleman returns to action on Thursday when it travels to Niagara, while Gillett will host Suring.
