WAUSAUKEE — A dominant team effort led to an easy 61-18 victory for Wausaukee over Lena in girls basketball on Monday.

The Rangers jumped out to a 33-5 lead at halftime and had six girls finish with six or more points.

Leading the way for Wausaukee (15-2 overall, 12-2 in the M&O Conference), was the trio of Madelyn, Kaelyn Schlies and Stephanie Murray who all scored 12 points. Natalie Schroeder chipped in eight.

For Lena (1-18 overall, 1-13 in the M&O), Mckenna Portier was the leading scorer with 12 points.

Wausaukee holds a half game lead atop the M&O and plays host to Crivitz on Friday in what could be the conference championship.
