MARINETTE — The M&M Thunder 10U girls team took a pair of wins over the Antigo 10U boys at the Community REC Center on Sunday.

Whitney Haile tallied eight goals on the day while the Thunder won with scores of 5-3 and 5-2.

 In the opening game, Natalie Haile started the scoring before Kendal Truckey scored off an assist from Natalie’s younger sister, Whitney. The younger Haile then ripped off three goals in a row while Erin Vincent made six saves for the Thunder.

In game two, Whitney Haile netted all five Thunder goals including four in the third period. Alleah Lentz, Everleigh Wilson and Vincent all had assists while Katelyn Truckey had a pair of helpers. Kendal Melchoir made four saves to preserve the win.

 Next up for the girls hockey program is a 10U tournament in Antigo March 7-8, followed by the 12U WAHA State Tournament in Baraboo March 14-15.
