WAUSAUKEE — The home girls basketball team doubled-up Coleman by using a balanced scoring attack to defeat the Cougars 78-39 on Friday.

Jumping out to a 35-23 halftime lead, the Rangers tacked on another 43 second-half points easily put the Cougars away.

Kaelyn Schlies poured in a game-high 20 points to lead the Rangers (2-0 overall, 2-0 in the M&O Conference). Madelyn Schlies finished with 19, Courtney Messar had 13 and Emily Shaw added eight.

Coleman (0-3 overall, 0-1 in the M&O), was led by Hailey Ziemer with 14 points and Kyla Manning chipped in nine.
