WEST DE PERE — The Marinette girls tennis team took advantage of some forfeits but still didn’t drop a match against Green Bay West on Tuesday as the Marines won 7-0.

“All of the girls who played matches today won them, so that’s a step in the right direction,” Marinette coach Christine Alloy said.

Maddy Bergstrom defeated Jasmeine Steber 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 singles and Tara Cook topped Gou Vang 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2. West was forced to forfeit at Nos. 3 & 4 singles.
