DE PERE, Wis. — The M&M Thunder bantam hockey team recovered from a two-goal deficit to tie De Pere (A) on Saturday.

The Thunder trailed 2-0 in the third period but an unassisted goal from Kennison Boivin got them on the board and two minutes later, Joey Danielak scored the game-tying goal with assists from Charlie Zimmer and Landon McKeefrey.

M&M held De Pere to just two shots on goal in the third period. The Thunder entered with an 11-game win streak that included six consecutive shutouts. While the shutout and win streak were ended, the Thunder are still undefeated in their last 13 games.

The Thunder host Calumet for two games this Sunday.

Boys JV basketball

Despite a game-high 22 points from Logan Allen, Oconto was on the losing end of a 61-58 decision on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils trailed Southern Door at halftime and recovered to tie the game in the second half, forcing overtime. Unfortunately for Oconto, it was unable to stop Southern Door in extra play.

Boys JV2 basketball

Will Jendeski scored a team-high 13 points for Oconto, but it still lost 36-32 to Southern Door on Tuesday.

Miguel Tobajas added eight points for the Blue Devils.
