ATHENS, Ga. — Menominee native Kameron Burmeister had a solid showing at the U.S. Olympic Trials Team Trials in the marathon event earlier this month.

Burmeister finished 165th out of 390 female runners. Her time was 2:47:22. Only the top three finishers made the team.

There were 175 male runners, bringing the total field to 565. Burmeister was 334th out of all runners.

Burmeister was a decorated cross country and track runner at Menominee High School. She went on to excel at Northern Michigan University in Marquette. She resides in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
