TOWNSEND — The Red Arrow Snowmobile ATV Club of Townsend, WI will hold their 44th Annual Fish A Ree on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Townsend Town Hall Building at 16564 Elm Street, Townsend, WI, located on the Nicolet State Recreational Trail, and State Highway 32 in Townsend. You are welcome to come by car or snowmobile.

Pre-registration offered for the fishing contest on Friday, February 15 at Pintsch’s Hardware in Townsend and Mighty Fine Live Bait in Lakewood thru noon on Saturday. Registration will also be held all day at the event location on Saturday February 16. Registration fee is $10.00. Cash prizes will be award for the biggest fish (by weight) in the walleye, northern, bass and pan fish categories. 1st prize in each category is $50, 2nd is $40 and 3rd is $20. Complete rules will be available when you register.

The day’s activities will begin at 11AM and end at 7PM, inside the warm Townsend town Hall and will include meat raffles, big ticket raffles, hot food, beverages and music. The fish contest prizes will be awarded at 5:30PM and the big ticket raffle will be drawn at 7PM. Some of the prizes on the big ticket raffle are a Snap-on cordless impact wrench, 49’ LG TV, $500 Shell gas card, an Up North Muskie print and 33 other prizes including clothing, cash and gift certificates.

Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the snowmobile and atv trail grooming and maintenance activities in the Townsend area. Red Arrow is the 7th largest snowmobile club in the state and also was awarded the Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs- “2018 Snowmobile Club of the Year” award in October of 2018. Red Arrow has also recently celebrated their 50 year anniversary.
