STEPHENSON — The Cheese Factory Deer and Wildlife Management Co-Op will be hosting a free deer and wildlife seminar at 11 a.m. Feb. 9 at the Belgiumtown Restaurant, W4346 Belgiumtown Road, Stephenson. The event is open to the public.

Attendees will benefit from a host of information, including: A presentation on ground-breaking research related to antlerless deer harvest; innovative ideas for food plots from John Komp of Northern Whitetails Food Plot Seed Company; information about forest management and its benefits for wildlife on your property from Wildlife Biologist and Forest Manager Jim Hammil; and Wildlife Cooperative Coordinator for MUCC Morgan Warda will talk about wildlife co-ops and Quality Deer Management of older, age-class bucks and the benefits to our deer herd.
