Menominee Woods and Stream Sportsman’s Club

Ken Kline topped all shooters last week with a five straight, followed by Paul Korn (25, 25, 24, 23, 23); Charlie Nagler (25, 25, 23); Norm Coon (25, 24, 24); John Turner (25, 24, 23); Mac McAllister and Al Nerat (25, 24); Jeff Chevalier and Steve Kakuk III (25); Roger Davis (24, 24, 23, 23, 23); Gene Lemery (24, 23); Gary Smith, Joe Pairon and Dan Bayee (24); Andrew Cook, Mike Waugus, Clinton Cech and Loren Rose (23).

Men’s high gun is now a tie between Dave Seymour and Lee Fernstrum, both with totals of 389 and 24.31 averages with only two more scores to go. Dan Bayee (380, 23.75), Mac McAllister (376, 23.50), Gene Lemery (374, 23.38), Ken Kline and Tom Volk (373, 23.31) round out the top men’s shooters.

Libby Theuerkauf leads women’s high gun with 355 total and 22.19 average, followed by Heather Juckem (335 and 20.94), Pat Barker (326 and 20.38), Mary Chevalier (325 and 20.31) and Sandy Waugus (291 and 18.19).

The week’s High Squad was shot twice on Tuesday by John Turner (24), Paul Korn (25), Roger Davis (24), Charlie Nagler (23) and Ken Kline (25) for a squad total of 121. That score was duplicated later that same day by John Turner (25), Paul Korn (24), Roger Davis (24), Mike Waugus (23) and Mac McAllister (25).

In team action Van’s IGA defeated Roadhouse II 119-114, Keeter’s Construction beat Lithocrafters Printing 120-117, Roadhouse I edged Little Digger Construction in a sixth-man tiebreaker 120/144-120/143, Barker’s Ridge defeated Wild Rivers Forestry in another sixth-man tiebreaker 120/144-120/141, Winsert outdueled Angeli’s 122-121, and Kakuk’s outdid the bye score 121-119.

Summer league will end the last week in August. Fall league will start on Sept. 2 and run for eight weeks. This is a five-man team league.
