M&M Youth Football kicked off its season Saturday with three games at Spies Field.

The Ameriprise Financial Eagles opened defense of their title with a 28-14 win over the Anderson Auto & RV Vikings. Dominic Koehnke scored on a 30-yard run and a 52-yard pass play. Carson Erdman scored on runs of 3 and 40 yards.

For the Vikings, Hunter Shepeck scored on runs of 80 and 50 yards.

Ethan Russell opened the scoring with a 15-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter. Landen Clausen scored on a 33-yard run, Brody Waara scored on a 1-yard plunge, and Mason Doubek scored on a 35-yard run.

For the Lions, Evan Dilley had a quarterback sack for a safety.

Two of the three games scheduled for Monday were rained out. Before the cames were called by lightning, Jonathan Lewis scored on a 41-yard run in the final minute of the game to break the tie. Lewis also scored on an 8-yard run in the first quarter.

Hunter Shepeck scored on a 55-yard run for the Vikings.
