 ¦  A deputy was dispatched at 7:47 p.m. June 26 to the Cenex in Spalding Township for a report of a larceny of gas. The complainant stated a woman pulled up and attempted to use her credit card but it did not go through. The suspect was advised that her card did not work and she said she would come in to pay. She drove off without paying.

¦ A deputy was advised to contact a male subject in reference to a child abuse complaint at 11:11 p.m. June 27 in Harris Township. Contact was made with the father and he said the son was abused at the son’s mother’s house by a man at her residence. An investigation was conducted and is ongoing.

¦ Deputies responded along with Mid-County Rescue, BAMC and Cedarville Township Fire Department to a possible drowning in Cedarville Township at 3:31 p.m., June 29. CPR was conducted and the 40-year-old woman began to breath on her own. She was air-lifted to Marquette General Hospital by Valley Med Flight. She recovered from the incident.

¦ Deputies were dispatched to a residence at 2:41 p.m., June 30 in Cedar River Township for a disturbance. Upon arriving at the residence, it was found that no crime had been committed.

¦ Deputies responded to a one-vehicle traffic crash at 5:36 p.m., June 30 in Spalding Township. Rachel Hudson, 35, Escanaba, was driving her vehicle at a high speed when she lost control and entered a ditch. Both Hudson and her passenger, William Graham, 51, Escanaba, were injured in the crash and were transported to the hospital. Several charges are being requested for Hudson through the Prosecutor’s Office.

¦ Krystal Sanchez, 34, Wilson, was arrested at 11:20 a.m. July 1 in the City of Menominee on a warrant for failure to appear for a preliminary examination out of 95A District Court of Menominee.

¦ Deputies responded to a one-vehicle traffic crash at 3:07 p.m., July 1 on G-12 in Stephenson Township. A vehicle driven by Tanya Fletcher, 40, Stephenson, was traveling east on G-12 when she attempted to pass a slow-moving tractor. The tractor made a left-hand turn and Fletcher over-corrected to avoid hitting it. This caused her to lose control, enter the ditch and overturn. Both Fletcher and her passenger, Thomas Fletcher, 21, Stephenson, reported minor injuries.
