Menominee County Sheriff

■ A deputy was dispatched to Cenex Gas Station at 4 p.m. May 16 in Spalding Township for a larceny of gas complaint. After conducting an investigation, it was found that a man pumped his gas but forgot to pay. He promptly returned and paid for his gas. No charges were issued.

■ A deputy responded to a two-vehicle accident in Holmes Township at 10:20 a.m. May 17. A vehicle driven by Eric Tickler, 29, Daggett, was south bond on County Road 577 when he came around a curve and noticed a vehicle pulled to the shoulder of the road. Tickler moved over but was unable to avoid the other vehicle driven by Joseph Stetina, 77, Daggett, who failed to see Tickler in his mirror and crossed the road in front of Tickler’s vehicle. No injuries were reported and Stetina was cited for improper turn. 

■ A deputy was dispatched to Spalding Township for an attempted breaking and entering at 11:59 a.m. May 18. The caller stated when she arrived at her business this morning she noticed some damage to the window. The caller said did not think an entry was made but the window was pushed in slightly.

■ A deputy was dispatched to a residence at 1:21 p.m. May 19 in Menominee Township for a report of a larceny from a mailbox. The caller said he is missing two packages from his mailbox over the last few weeks; an investigation is ongoing.

■ Andrea Addington, 35, Menominee was arrested at 4:30 p.m. May 21 in the City of Menominee on two warrants. The warrants were for failure to appear for arraignment out of 95A District Court of Menominee.

■ A deputy was dispatched to a residence at 7 p.m. May 21 for a hit-and-run accident that occurred in a business parking lot in the City of Stephenson. The caller said he had gone into the store and then drove to his place of employment, when he exited the vehicle he noticed damage to the passenger’s side of his vehicle.
