¦ A semi driven by Jennings J. Anderson, 33, Glen Flora, Wis., collided with a car driven by Paige C. Florek, 19, 840 Gladstone St., Marinette, at 1:50 p.m. Thursday at 9th Road and County Trunk B in the Town of Pound. Florek’s vehicle was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of 9th Road and County Trunk B, and Anderson’s vehicle took a wide turn, colliding with Florek’s.

¦ A car driven by Leonardo D. Gonzalez, 25, Peshtigo, ran off the road and hit a mailbox at 3:17 a.m. Oct. 23 on Highway 64 in the Town of Peshtigo.

¦ An SUV driven by Benotch, 57, Kaukauna, Wis., struck a car owned by Banaszak Service Center and Auto Sales at 11:17 a.m. Oct. 21 on U.S. 141 in the Town of Beaver. Benotch lost consciousness due to a medical issue, so the passenger in his vehicle, Laurie L. Winkler, 54, Kaukauna, took the wheel and drove off the roadway into the ditch, struck two fixed objects and Banaszak’s parked vehicle.

¦ A car driven by Carl E. Geller, 73, N4523 River Dr., Marinette, collided with a pickup driven by Jeffrey S. Bonikowske, 44, Crivitz, at 2:24 p.m. Oct. 20 on County Trunk W in the Town of Lake. Geller’s vehicle lost control negotiating a curve, overcorrected and skid perpendicular to the road. Bonikowske saw Geller’s vehicle losing control and slowed to avoid collision, but Geller’s vehicle slid into Bonikowske’s.

¦ A motorcycle driven by George H. Aerts, 56, Amberg, struck a deer and slid across the roadway at 10:20 p.m. Oct. 20 on County Trunk C in the Town of Athelstane. Aerts wasn’t wearing a helmet and suffered severe injuries. He was transported by air to St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay and died 4:12 p.m. Oct. 21.

¦ A van driven by Jacob J. Tyloch, 29, 1877 Dunlap Ave., Marinette, collided with a car driven by Jamesen J. Wellner, 18, Ingalls, Mich., at 10:56 p.m. Oct. 17 on U.S. 41 in the Town of Peshtigo. Wellner’s vehicle was stopped at a red light with a truck driven by Steven J. Kars, 42, Okeechobee, Fla., behind. Tyloch’s vehicle crossed left of center and failed to turn left, colliding head-on with Wellner’s vehicle and pushing it into Kars’.

¦ An SUV driven by Julie A. Heckman, 56, Amberg, lost control, crossed both lanes of traffic, entered the ditch and struck a tree at 11:39 a.m. Oct. 14 on Black Sam Road in the Town of Amberg. Heckman was transported to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.

¦ An SUV driven by Gutberto Diaz, 21, Lewisburg, Tenn., approached a “T” intersection, left the roadway and struck a tree at 12:15 a.m. Oct. 10 on County Trunk P in the Town of Beaver. Diaz and two passengers, Urin P. Ramirez, 20, Los Angeles, and Abel Roblero, 21, were trapped and required extrication. Ramirez was transported to St. Vincent Hospital. Diaz and Roblero were both transported to Aurora Medical Center - Bay Area.

¦ Officers investigated a report of an assault at 7:36 a.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of 13th Avenue.

¦ Officers investigated a two-car accident which resulted in minor damage to both vehicles but no injuries at 8:28 a.m. Thursday at 22nd Street and 18th Avenue.

¦ A 35-year-old man was cited for an expired registration plate on a vehicle at 12:43 a.m. Friday at 15th Avenue and 20th Street.

¦ A 23-year-old woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated, driving while texting, reading or typing and failing to signal a turn at 1:28 a.m. Friday at 25th Street and 15th Avenue.

¦ Officers investigated a suspicious situation regarding a possible assault at 4:47 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of 28th Avenue.

¦ Two 18-year-old men and a 17-year-old girl were arrested for being minors in possession of alcohol and for open intoxicants in a vehicle at 6:51 p.m. Friday at Industrial Drive and 2nd Street.

¦ A 34-year-old woman was arrested for assault and battery at 7 p.m. Friday in the 1000 block of 16th Avenue.

¦ A 30-year-old man was arrested on a felony warrant through the Marquette Sheriff’s Department and for driving with a suspended license at 9:42 p.m. Friday at 42nd Avenue and Highway M35.

¦ A 35-year-old man was arrested for driving while intoxicated, having open intoxicants in a vehicle, no driver’s license on his person, expired registration plates, refusing a preliminary breath test and failure to yield the right of way at 2:16 a.m. Saturday at 10th Street and 12th Avenue.

¦ Officers investigated a report of malicious destruction of property to six vehicles at a business that had been keyed and two also with painted windows at 1:37 p.m. Saturday in the 3900 block of 10th Street.

¦ A 39-year-old woman was arrested on a bench warrant through the Menominee Police Department, on a bench warrant through the Menominee County Sheriff’s Department, driving under the influence of drugs, driving with a suspended license and retail fraud at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of 7th Avenue.

¦ A 58-year-old man was arrested for driving while intoxicated, refusing a preliminary breath test, disregarding a stop sign and resisting and obstructing a police officer at 11:03 p.m. Saturday at 6th Street and 14th Avenue.

 Menominee County Sheriff

¦ James McGillis, 38, Escanaba, was arrested at 10 a.m. Aug. 17 in Delta County on a warrant for failure to appear to show cause out of 41st Circuit Court of Menominee. McGillis was transported to the Menominee County Jail where he was lodged.

¦ A 36-year-old Marinette man was arrested at 3:05 a.m. Aug. 19 in Ingallston Township for possession of methamphetamine and driving while license revoked.

¦ Deputies were on patrol on U.S. 41 in Menominee Township when they observed a vehicle in the ditch at 12:07 a.m. Aug. 20. Contact was made with the driver, Toni Lapalme, 29, Stephenson. After conducting an investigation, Lapalme was arrested for driving while under the influence of drugs. She was transported to the jail and later to the hospital for evaluation.

¦ A deputy was advised at 10 a.m. Aug. 20 to contact a female subject in reference to a trespass complaint in Ingallston Township. The caller stated the day before a vehicle pulled up in her yard and a male occupant stated he was looking for property to buy. The caller told him her property was not for sale. She said the same man returned the next day for the same reason. The caller said she told him, again, that her property was not for sale and said he was trespassing. She called to have the incident on report in case of future problems.

¦ Brittany Williams, 25, Wilson, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 20 in Delta County on a warrant for failure to appear to show cause out of 41st Circuit Court of Menominee. She was transported to the Menominee County Jail.

¦ Kaeleb Crawford, 16, Menominee, was traveling on River Road in Menominee Township when he lost control of his vehicle at 11:07 a.m. Aug. 20. His vehicle crossed the road and entered the ditch before overturning.

¦ A deputy was dispatched at 8:49 a.m. Aug. 21 to a residence in Menominee Township for a report of breaking and entering that had occurred overnight. The caller stated when he returned home from work he had found his residence and vehicle broken into and several items were taken. An investigation was conducted and is ongoing.

¦  Damien Seymour, 23, Gladstone, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. Aug. 21 in Delta County on two warrants for failure to appear for arraignment out of 95A District Court of Menominee.
