¦ Damien Seymour, 23, Gladstone, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. Aug. 21 in Delta County on two warrants out of 95A District Court of Menominee. Both warrants were for failure to appear for arraignment. 

¦ Candice Clouse Kramer, 30, Escanaba, was arrested at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 22 in Delta County on a warrant for failure to appear for a probable cause conference hearing out of 95A District Court of Menominee. 

¦ Deputies responded at 12:06 p.m. Aug. 22 in Nadeau Township. A tractor driven by Michael Kraniak, 54, Carney, failed to yield in time to an oncoming train. The train struck the tractors front end, but Kraniak was able to back the tractor up before being drug down the tracks. No injuries were reported but the tractor sustained disabling damage.

¦ A deputy was advised to respond to a family dispute in Harris Township at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 23. The caller stated her daughter was with a family member and they had an altercation, the caller said they wanted the situation investigated. An investigation was conducted and the incident was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.

¦ Joshua Schwamlien, 34, Perronville, Mich., was arrested on warrant at 12:20 p.m. Aug. 24 in Harris Township. The warrant was for controlled substance - delivery / manufacturing methamphetamine out of 95A District Court of Menominee.

¦ A deputy responded to a business in the City of Stephenson at 6:29 a.m. Aug. 24 for an attempted breaking and entering complaint. The caller stated some of the equipment in the building was damaged when the suspect attempted to get the money inside. No money was actually missing but the equipment sustained damage and needed to be repaired.

¦ Deputies, along with other local agencies, responded at 7:02 p.m. Aug. 25 to a report of an assault with a gun in Menominee Township. The caller stated she was assaulted by a male subject with a gun when she went to the residence to pick up her kids. After investigating the situation, Travis Olsen, 27, Menominee, was arrested for felonious assault with a gun and two counts of child endangerment.
