Marinette Police

■ Tyler Olsen was arrested for OAWI (1st offense) and for resisting and obstructing an officer at 2:30 a.m. Friday at Ella Court and Hattie streets. In the same incident, Kevin Polin and Evelyn Kamin were both arrested for disorderly conduct and for resisting and obstructing an officer.

■ Joseph Strohmier was arrested for possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia at 10:01 p.m. Friday at Marinette Avenue and Currie Street.

■ Rodney Tyler was arrested on a warrant at 2:45 p.m. Saturday at 235 Main St.

■ Cody Wilson was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of meds without a scrips and driving without insurance at 11:34 p.m. Saturday at U.S. 41 and Access Road No. 3.

■ Hector Vasquez was arrested for outside consumption at 11:50 p.m. Sunday at 2029 Hall Ave.

■ Ian Thames was arrested for OAWI (1st offense) at 2:10 a.m. Sunday at 1600 Bridge St.

■ Beth Parrett was taken into custody for discharging bodily fluids at a police officer, hate crime enhancer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct at 2:05 a.m. Sunday at 50 W. Hosmer St. In the same incident, Casarus Miller was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Quantez McIntyre was taken into custody for disorderly conduct.

■ Daniel VanCleve was cited for disorderly conduct, prohibited loud and unnecessary noise and resisting arrest at 2:39 a.m. Sunday at 3920 Hall Ave.

■ Darrien Mechalson was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended (3rd offense), displaying false registration plates and driving without insurance at 4:30 a.m. Sunday at U.S. 41 and Country Meadows Road. In the same incident, Ryan Godfrey was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and probation hold. 

■ Nickolas Lemke was taken into custody on a hold through probation and parole and for obstruction at 6 p.m. Sunday at Fred and Ella Court streets.

■ Daniel Jackson reported the theft of his maroon/cream colored Trek mountain bike at 8:30 a.m. Sunday at 813 Wells St.

■ David Randall was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at 10:50 a.m. Sunday at 1806 Liberty St.

■ David Randall was taken into custody for disorderly conduct at 5:46 p.m. Monday at 2300 Roosevelt Road.

■ Jonathon Paris was arrested for trespassing and harassment at 7:40 a.m. Monday at 1300 Logan Ave.

■ Firefighters responded to a furnace making noise at 2:01 a.m. Aug. 13 at 2430 Mary St.

■ Firefighters responded to an alarm activation at 11:33 a.m. Aug. 13 at 2 Stanton St.

■ Firefighters responded to a vehicle accident at 6:05 a.m. Aug. 15 at 1700 Shore Dr.

■ Firefighters responded to a carbon monoxide detector activation at 8:55 p.m. Aug. 16 at 1507 Cleveland Ave.

■ Firefighters responded to a carbon monoxide detector activation at 9:20 p.m. Aug. 16 at 1603 Sherman St.

■ Firefighters responded to a carbon monoxide detector activation at 1:56 p.m. Aug. 18 at 2619 Riverside Ave.

■ Firefighters responded to a vehicle leaking fluid at 1:37 a.m. Aug. 22 at 1710 Marinette Ave.

■ Firefighters responded to a report of possible carbon monoxide at 4:16 p.m. Aug. 22  at 1011 Marinette Ave.

■ Firefighters responded to a report of a smell of gas at 2:32 p.m. Aug. 23 at 1146 Tenth Ave.

■ Firefighters responded to an alarm activation at 9:25 p.m. Aug. 24 at 1333 Main St.

■ Firefighters responded to a structure fire at 10:41 p.m. Aug. 25 at 1339 Armstrong St. They returned to the station at 12:12 a.m.

■ Firefighters responded to a report of a smell of gas at 10:57 a.m. Aug. 26 at 3920 Hall Ave.

The Marinette Fire Department also responded to 21 EMS calls.

Animal Control

City of Marinette

■ Two kittens were found at 9:31 a.m. Friday at 1151 W. Hosmer St. and taken to Town and Country vet. The kittens are approximately 6 weeks old. 

■ A black-and-white cat was recovered at 1 p.m. Tuesday at 145 Hattie St. and brought to Town & Country vet.

■ Wellness Committee. Friday, 12:15 p.m., annex conference room in courthouse. Discuss 2020 budget for wellness programs and suggested funding sources and employee incentives. 2019 Healrh Fair and Health and Human Services Fitness Room equipment updates. Discuss 2019 Golf Outing — increased participation this year with 56 people participating.
