MENOMINEE — The Menominee Municipal Code requires removal of snow and ice from sidewalks within the city as follows:

Business/public buildings: Within 24 hours after the last snowfall of one inch or more.

Residential property:  By 10 a.m. after 24 hours has passed since the last snowfall of one inch or more.

Failure to remove snow from sidewalks may result in issuance of a citation for violation of the ordinance and removal of the snow by city crews at a cost of $25 plus $45 per hour billed to the property owner and as a possible special assessment against the property.
