Menominee man sentenced to prison

MARINETTE — A 24-year-old Menominee man will serve a total of three years in prison for a pair of crimes.

Joshua Luquin, 913 15th Ave., was sentenced Monday in Marinette County Circuit Court Branch 2 to 18 months prison for strangulation and suffocation and 18 months prison for bail jumping. The sentences are consecutive bringing the total prison time to three years.

Each sentence is followed by three years extended supervision, also to run consecutively, bringing that total to six years.

Luquin entered guilty pleas to both charges on Sept. 23.
