GREEN BAY — Cassandra Nygren, 30, Green Bay, is facing new charges of delivery of amphetamines and providing contraband to an inmate, according to the Green Bay Press Gazette.

Nygren is awaiting trial on charges that she supplied the meth that killed a pregnant woman in Brown County.

Nygren made her initial appearance Tuesday via video from the Brown County Jail with attorney John Herman. She is scheduled for an adjourned initial appearance next Tuesday.

Nygren is awaiting a jury trial in February for first-degree reckless homicide and for homicide involving an unborn child. Police and prosecutors say she was party to providing the Fentanyl-laced heroin that killed Jennifer Skeen, 31, of Allouez, and her unborn child in June 2017.

Nygren has been in the Brown County Jail since her arrest in that case.

Nygren is the daughter of State Rep. John Nygren of Marinette.
