“The person who wrote on city spending dollars is right. The city should contact the Canadian Railroad to fix up several tracks, especially the one at State Street and Sherman is very bad. Also fix the ones on Mary Street and Carney and Cleveland avenues. The city needs its streets fixed.

“If the railroad would need help cutting weeds on Marinette and Cleveland avenues in front of Country Inn, they should ask for help. You can hardly see these places and visitors find it hard to see hotels from (U.S.) 41. 

“If the railroad can donate money to an organization, they should be able to fix the tracks so people can ride nicely.”
