“The city council in Menominee does not seem to hear that most of the people do not want to have to use the trash cans. It is much easier for the elderly to put a bag of trash out than struggle with containers that one has to use two hands to handle and make several trips, especially in the winter. In the winter do you put the cans out before the snowplow goes by or after when you have to fight the snowbanks.

“The council seems to be putting more effort into justifying the establishment of pot smoking places than the welfare of the elderly. Are some of the council looking to get in the business? There is an effort being made to drain the swamp in Washington D.C., I think a little swamp draining at city hall should take place.”
