“Marinette County gave $90,000 to Marinette with hopes that their new, yet-to-be-hired tourism person will promote Marinette County tourism. Seems they are busy and more concerned about the elected, part-time coroner that makes $30,000 a year. Someone explain this thinking or concern. The voters’ selection process is much better than the county board’s to date. The voters would likely vote other people into the county board positions if they had choices. Let the voters decide who is coroner.”
