Dear Editor,

Elderly Services of Marinette County recently put together an intergenerational project with local elementary schools. Elementary students made Christmas cards that were delivered with a Christmas dinner meal for the Meals on Wheels participants. In total, there were seven elementary schools that made 555 Christmas cards! The seven schools were Goodman/Armstrong Creek, Crivitz, Wausaukee, Coleman, Peshtigo, Niagara and Faith Christian elementary schools. We want to publicly thank those teachers and students for all their hard work. There were so many beautiful cards and caring words.

The seniors that received these Christmas cards truly appreciate all the hard work and effort put into the cards as well. Many of the elderly in Marinette County are very isolated and may only receive this one Christmas card this holiday season.
