Shirley Ann Dombrowski, 83, of Daggett, Mich., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. The former Shirley Ann Poquette was born on Aug. 1, 1936, in Hermansville, Mich., to the late Arthur and Dora (Sicore) Poquette.  
   On Aug. 31, 1957, Shirley married Richard Dombrowski in Hermansville. Shirley worked for the Norway Sewing Factory and Pinecrest until her children were born. She enjoyed her time in the “Over the Hill” band, singing and playing guitar at area nursing homes such as Roubals and Pinecrest. Shirley further enjoyed camping and trips to the casino. She was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
    Survivors include her husband, Richard, of Daggett; three children: Scott (Todd Brigman) Dombrowski of Gladstone, Mich., Cindy (John) Seymour of Carney, Mich., and Peter (Annell) Dombrowski of Manitowoc, Wis.; grandchildren: Evan, Drew and Ava Dombrowski and Samantha Seymour; niece, Julie (Gary) Raatz; nephew, Steve (Corrie) Poquette; along with other nieces and cousins. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Leroy and Lloyd Poquette; and niece, Wendy Poquette.
    Visitation for Shirley will be held at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Nadeau on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. with Father Jacek Wytklo officiating.  
    Burial will follow in Nadeau Township Cemetery.  
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.  Any expressions of kindness can be directed to Richard Dombrowski.
