Sandra M. Bartoszek, 69, of Daggett, Mich., passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. Sandy was born on May 23, 1950, in Menominee, Mich., to the late Roy and Constance (Kulwich) Szoke.
Sandy attended Stephenson High School before attending Davenport College in Grand Rapids, Mich.  Sandy worked in the hotel business for over 30 years. She worked for several large hotel chains as the director of sales during her career.  Despite a hectic work schedule her daughter, Christa Rose, was her number one priority and delight. Sandy enjoyed mother-daughter trips, like when they went to New York to see the Big Apple for Christa to only realize later there was no actual apple there. She enjoyed attending music concerts, county fairs, visiting the beach in Saugatuck, Mich., and driving convertibles in Florida.  Sandy was a loving and compassionate daughter. She had a heart that was 10 times larger than her chest. She cared for her mother until her last breath. She never missed a day of being by her side in the eight years she was in the nursing home. It would be hard to find a more loyal and steadfast friend than Sandy. She gave her love and friendship freely to everyone she met.
Sandy is survived by her daughter, Christa Rivard-LeBoeuf; and son-in-law, Timothy LeBoeuf. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; and granddog,  Barney.
Visitation for Sandy will be held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home on Wednesday June 19, 2019, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m., with Deacon Tom Rivard officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Oakwood.
