Ruth Ann Paulsen, 77, passed away peacefully, Aug. 1, 2019, in Green Bay. She was born July 7, 1942, in Hanford, Calif., to the late Eugene and Marie (King) Paulsen.
    Ruth grew up and was educated in the Menominee-Marinette area graduating with the 1960 class of Marinette Catholic Central. She moved to the Milwaukee, Wis., area in the late 1960s and was employed in various accounting positions at Marquette University where she remained until retirement in 2004. She relocated to De Pere, Wis., in 2014 to be closer to family. Ruth was active in planning most of the class reunions for the class of 1960, was a member of the Quarter Century Club of Marquette University, French Canadian/Acadian Genealogist of Wisconsin, Bay Area Genealogical Society of Green Bay, and Wisconsin Historical Society. She enjoyed genealogy research of her ancestors, reading, knitting, and travel.
    Ruth is survived by three sisters: Mary (Allan) Grenier, Joan (Shelby) Keill both of Marinette, and Jean Millner of Green Bay; six nieces and nephews; and 11 great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Daniel Bailey; and nephew, Corey Bailey.
    Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family with burial arrangements. In accordance with the wishes of the deceased, there will be no visitation.
