Ronald G. Morton Sr., 87, of Stephenson, Mich., passed away on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, at Aurora Medical Center-Bay Area in Marinette, Wis. Ron was born on Aug. 5, 1932, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to the late George and Viola (Roller) Morton.  
   Ron was a 1950 graduate of Manistique High School. In 1953, Ron married the former Jenene Caskey in Richmond, Ind. She preceded him in death on Nov. 2, 2002. On Feb. 16, 2008, Ron married Joyce Chaney in Stephenson. Ron worked for Manistique Paper for 35 years and spent the last 17 of those years in sales and as a service rep. He enjoyed traveling, going to shows at the casino and spending time with his family. Ron was a member of Lost Lake Covenant Church and the 32nd Degree Masons.
    Survivors include his wife, Joyce, of Stephenson; two children: Ronald G. (Candace) Morton Jr. of Marinette, and Jenette (Dennis) Weaver of Menominee, Mich.; three grandchildren: Heidi (Tom) McGowan of Marinette, Richard (Jacqueline) Morton of Virginia, and Paul (Kristi) Weaver of Grand Haven, Mich.; seven great-grandchildren; three step-children: Christine (Dan) Denau of Escanaba, Mich., Mark (Diane) Blaskowski of Kingsford, Mich., and Joe (Anne) Blaskowski of Bay City, Mich.; eight step-grandchildren; and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Morton.
    Visitation for Ron will be held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Andrew Stonina officiating.
