Ronald C. Doran, 70, of Menominee, Mich., passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018. He was born March 7, 1948, in Menominee to Gordon and Sophie Doran.
    Ron spent most of his life in Menominee and was a graduate of Menominee High School, Class of 1966. He was a longtime employee of Menominee Boiler Works. Ron’s favorite place to be was at camp.  He was an avid outdoorsman and particularly enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a lifetime member of the Menominee Woods and Stream Sportsman’s Club. He was a lifelong learner, well read and knowledgeable in many areas.
    Ron is survived by two daughters: Heather (Jason) Juckem of Crivitz, Wis., and Angela (Eric) Brissette of Marinette, Wis.; two grandsons: Taylor (McKayla) of Ft. Bragg, N.C., and Ethan of Marinette; and two sisters: Nancy (Francis) Camps of Marinette and Mary (Jay) Hubbard of Daggett, Mich. He was preceded in death by his parents: Gordon and Sophie Doran; and the mother of his daughters, Lois Doran.
    Visitation will be at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home in Marinette on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019 (please note date), from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Mark Laatsch officiating.
    Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee.
