Roger F. Myers passed away Nov. 7, 2019, at Aurora Medical Center Bay Area with his loving family by his side. Roger was born Feb. 18, 1933, to Harold and Dorothy Myers at their home in Carbondale, Mich.    
    Roger served as a Staff Sgt. in the United States Air Force from 1953-1957. Following his service, he returned home and worked for over 30 years at Kimberly Clark before retiring. Roger was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed spending time watching races on TV and at Norway Speedway. He also enjoyed attending sporting events to cheer on his grandchildren and spending time them. Roger had a special place in his heart for his dogs and candy!
    Roger is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marilyn (Swanson) Myers; and their three children: Glenn (Terri) Myers, Debbie (Scott) Nerat and Cheryl (Scott) Harris. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Josh (Erin) Nerat, Nick (Holly) Nerat, Scott Jr. (Jamie) Harris, Sean (Alexia) Myers and Katie Myers, in addition to his nine great-grandchildren. Roger was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Myers; and sisters: Helen Highdale and Norma Stewart.
    Per Roger’s wishes, in lieu of a funeral services, there will be a celebration of his life for family and friends that will take place on Monday, Nov. 11, at 4 p.m. at The Pullman House.
