Matthew S. Gunderson, 25, of Menominee, Mich., passed away on Friday, Feb. 8, 2019, at his home.  Matthew was born on March 23, 1993, in Allentown, Penn.  
     Matthew worked as an equipment operator for QOS Fiber. He enjoyed motorcycles, fishing and being outdoors. Matthew loved children and animals. He also enjoyed driving around and digging holes.  Beneath his tough exterior, he was a kind and gentle soul and the world is poorer from his loss. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
    Survivors include his parents: Tim and Lynn Gunderson of Paw Paw, Mich.; two sisters: Rachel Raymond and Faith Gunderson; brother, Nathaniel Gunderson; two children: Nathalia and Mordecai; nieces:  Aliyah and Naomi; nephews:  Marcus and Brady; maternal grandparents: Les and Kay Fawley; aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved dog,  JD.  Matthew was preceded in death by his brother, Ben; and paternal grandparents: Wallace and Ruth Gunderson.
    Visitation for Matthew will be held at North Shore Church on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, from noon until time of funeral service at 1 p.m., with Pastor Tim Gunderson and Pastor Duncan Ross officiating.  
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be made in Matthew’s memory to St. Innocence Orphanage in Rosarito, Mexico. Any expression may be directed to Tim and Lynn Gunderson.
