Lowell “Buck” M. Meeks Sr., 62, of Peshtigo, Wis., passed away Feb. 3, 2020. Born in Isabella, Minn., son of the late Corbett and Raeburn (Reynolds) Meeks, he was delivered by his father on Dec. 12, 1957.  
    On June 6, 1976, he married Joyce Tonnar in Ontonagon, Mich. Lowell worked in the woods logging until age 23 when he started working splicing telephone cable. He enjoyed time with his family, fishing, hunting, NASCAR, Packer games, grilling, camping, drinking Miller Lite and chewing Copenhagen. He was the backbone of the family. His kids, grandkids, and of course Joyce, were his life. He would give the shirt off of his back for anyone.
     Lowell is survived by his wife, Joyce; his children: Bucky Jr., Larry, Lance and Karie; grandchildren: Ashley, D.J., Abbey, Caleb, Lawrence and Maddy; siblings: Darlene, Bev, Jerry, Sam, Buster, Faron and Tammy;  also survived by many, many, many, nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings: Sharon, Corby, Kristine, Marlea, Chucky, Randy, Jim and Tom.
     A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, Feb. 8, at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
