Jewel M. Pennington, 76, of Marinette, Wis., passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at her home. She was born Feb. 14, 1943, in Baraboo, Wis., to Albert Edward Pierce and Ruby (Rathman) Pierce. She was one of eight children in the family.
   Jewel came to Marinette as a young adult and resided here since. She was married to Wally Pennington and to Bernie Beaver, both of whom preceded her in death. She worked at the former M&M Box Co. until it closed and later was employed by Schloegel’s Restaurant and the Dodge Inn, from which she retired.
    Jewel is survived by three children: Sydney (husband, Ralph), Barry and Janel (husband, Chris); grandchildren: Marcus, Morgan, Brandon, Makenzie, Allyson, Chelsea, Jess and Shanena; great-grandchildren: Darrien, Billy and Brayden; three brothers; and one sister. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Donny; a granddaughter, Danielle; one brother; and two sisters.
    Visitation will be held at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home on Saturday, March 9, 2019, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
