Jeffery J. Anglehart, 55, of Marinette, passed away March 9, 2019, at Bay Area Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. He was born August 26, 1963, to Elizabeth “Betty” and Tom Anglehart. He graduated from Marinette High School with the Class of 1981.
Jeff joined the Army after graduation and served during the first Gulf War where he was stationed in Kuwait. He also served during the invasion of Panama in 1989-90. After his military career he came back to Marinette and worked at Waupaca Foundry until his retirement. Jeff enjoyed watching his children’s sporting events through the years and you could always find him at the ballpark in the summertime.
Jeff is survived by his children: Jacob “Jake” Anglehart and Abbie Anglehart of Menominee; and his brothers, Michael (Nancy) Anglehart and Scott Anglehart, both of Marinette. Survivors also include an aunt: Rita Anglehart of Marinette; nieces: Cameron Anglehart of Marinette, Sarah and Emma Hoffman of Racine, Wis.; a nephew: Dawson Anglehart of Marinette; and special friends: Stacey Wangerin, Matt Swanson and Joe Posephny. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents: Tom and Betty Anglehart; and a sister: Theresa (Anglehart) Hoffman.
Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home on Friday, March 15, 2019, from 4 until 6 p.m. A time of shared recollections will follow along with an honors ceremony conducted by the Military Twenty-Year Club.
Jeff’s family would like to thank the nurses at BAMC, especially Morgan and Nadine; and the local staff of Unity Hospice, especially Haley, who took such wonderful care of him and his family.
