Jean M. Pleshek (Paulsen), 78, of Menominee, Mich., passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, Wis.  The former Jean Marie Menard was born on April 10, 1942, in Menominee, to the late Jack and Dorothy (Goldstone) Menard.  
    Jean worked as a server at Johnny’s Loaf & Stein and Schloegel’s for many years. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, music, dancing,  traveling and sending and receiving mail. Jean loved keeping in touch with family and friends through social media and writing notes and hiding things everywhere. Above all else, Jean loved spending time with her family and friends, but her passion was her three granddaughters who were her world. Jean was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church.
    Survivors include her three children: Sandra Holmes of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Stephen Paulsen of Peshtigo, Wis., and Michael Paulsen of Menominee; three granddaughters: Tina Paulsen, Whitney Holmes and Rachel Paulsen; brothers: James (Lanie) Menard, Paul Menard and John Menard; sisters:  Pat (Pete) Vermeltes and Sally (Ken) Kirt; sister-in-law,  Donna Menard; and many beloved in-laws; nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Menard.
    Visitation for Jean will be held at Cadieu Funeral Home on Thursday, July 2, 2020, from 1:30 p.m., until time of Eulogy at 4:15 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 5 p.m., at Resurrection Catholic Church, with Father Brian Gerber presiding.  
    Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
    In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established; any expressions may be directed to a family member.
