James F. Frederick, 75, of Marinette, Wis., passed away peacefully at home on Nov. 7, 2019, with his loving wife, Cindy, and sister-in-law, Sue, providing loving care. Jim was born on Sept. 27, 1944, in Milwaukee, Wis., to the late Earl and Marcella (Prohuska) Frederick.
    Jim served in the U.S. Army and worked at American Motors-Datsun and Marinette Marine. Jim married the former Cynthia Bertrand on Jan. 30, 1993, at St. James Lutheran Church in Marinette. Jim enjoyed shooting pool, camping, music and playing his guitar who he referred to as his “Ole Lady.”
    Along with his wife, Cindy, Jim is survived by his daughter, Sherry (Jeff) Wierzba; and grandchildren: Tae and Maria of Neenah, Wis.; son, Terry of Wausaukee, Wis.; sister, Beverly Romp (special friend, Bob) of Melbourne, Fla.;  mother-in-law, Leah Bertrand; sisters-in-law:  Donna (Brad) Constine of Marinette, and Susan (Rick) Wieting of Crivitz, Wis.;  brother-in-law, Michael (Merrily) Bertrand of Marinette; nieces and nephews; and his extended family: Doug, Ken, Amy and Amber.   Jim was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert; brother-in-law, Thomas Romp; father-in-law, Robert Bertrand; and a sister-in-law, Lisa Crowley.
    Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home, Marinette, followed by the service.
