Gwendolyn Joann Hancock, 80, of Peshtigo, Wis., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020, at Rennes East, Peshtigo.  Gwen was born Sept. 18, 1939, in Peshtigo to the late Ernest and Adeline (Koppline) Votava.  
     Gwen married Roger Hancock on Jan. 18, 1959. He preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1984. Gwen was an avid sport enthusiast, hunting, fishing, playing and coaching softball, bowling. She loved watching all sports: Brewers, Badgers, especially the Green Bay Packers and she attended the Ice Bowl in 1967. Gwen retired from Unlimited Services in 2007 after 20 years.
     Gwen is survived by a son, Scott (KC Lascelle) Hancock; granddaughters: Kelly (Brent) Franck and Kerry (Dustin) Valley; great-grandchildren: Taylor, Alexander and Ella Franck, and Blake and Gillian Borkowski; brothers: Dennis, Ernest (Linda) and Ron (Sue); sister, Judy (Tim) Derringer; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Kathy DeGaynor. She was preceded in death by brothers: James, Joseph and Timothy; and sisters: Sandra, Nola and Kathy.
     The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, Wis., from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020.  Funeral services will conducted at noon, Saturday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Daniel Sargent officiating.
