Glenn A. Lemsky 91 of Marinette passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at Sun Valley Homes II. He was born on October 11, 1927, to the late Joseph and Irene (Longrie) Lemsky in Marinette and graduated the 1945 class of Marinette High School. He served his country in the Maritime Marine all over Europe, Russia, and Germany. On December 2, 1950, Glenn married Mary “Pat” Koeppler at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Marinette.  He had worked at Scott Paper for 43 years and was the Union Steward and Recording Secretary. He enjoyed hunting, building things, including a cabin, and woodworking.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 68 years, Pat of Marinette; four sons: William (Marilyn) Lemsky of Richfield, James (Tracy) Lemsky of Green Bay, John Lemsky of Marinette, and Thomas (Melissa) Lemsky of Hudson; five daughters: Mary (Mark) Peterson of Green Bay, Leanne Herrild of DePere, Kathryn (Wayne) Adams of Marinette, Susan (Mike) Pierson of Neenah, and Julie (Kurt Schadewalt) Lemsky of Belleville; daughter in law, Patt Lemsky of Waukesha; sister in law, Unice Lemsky of Marinette; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Joseph; son in law, Ron Herrild; brother, Alden Lemsky, and sister, Lucille Champeau.

Private family services will be held at Thielen Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul.
