George H. (Bud) Beaudoin, 95, Stephenson, Mich., died peacefully on May 20, 2020, at Roubal Care and Rehab center. George was born in Stephenson on Sept. 28, 1924, to George W. and Lillian (Kronsnoble) Beaudoin.
  George graduated from Stephenson High School, Class of 1942.  He furthered his education at Middlebury College in Vermont and Michigan State University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business. He married Marilyn (Toots) Beaudoin on May 8, 1954, in Chicago. She preceded him in death on Nov. 19, 2014. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in World War II, and was honorably discharged on March 4, 1946. George and Marilyn owned and operated Beaudoin Distributing Company from 1956 until retirement in 1988. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting, especially when he was at his camp (the French Retreat). He treasured the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the American Legion Post 43 in Stephenson and Precious Blood Catholic Church.
    George is survived by his children: Jeff (Barb) Beaudoin, Phoenix, Ariz., Sally (Denny) Beaudoin and Tim (Sherri) Beaudoin, both of Stephenson, and Jill (Joe) Beaudoin Lannan of Olympia, Wash. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Kristie, Katie and Scott Beaudoin, Beau Lannan and Jesse Revesz; and by one brother, Gerald Beaudoin; along with brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. George was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn (Toots) Beaudoin; his granddaughter, Nicole (Nikki) Brittany Beaudoin; and his sister, Dorothy Phillippo.
    Due to the coronavirus, no formal funeral will be held at this time. The family will have a private gathering at a future date.
