Faye Doreen Ruleau, 82, of Menominee, Mich., passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020, at Aurora Bay Area Medical Center. Faye was born Aug. 13, 1937, in Menominee to the late Frederick and Caroline (Hofer) Gilbert.
    Faye is a 1955 graduate of Menominee High School. After graduation, she married Chum Ruleau on Sept. 21, 1955, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 1998. She is a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Menominee and North Shore Golf Course where she loved to play in her women’s golf league. Faye was a volunteer with the Bay Area Medical Center Auxiliary. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing and spending time with her family and especially her little grandchildren.
    Faye is survived by her sons: Jim (Chris) Ruleau, Steve (Donna) Ruleau and William Ruleau; special friend, Ed Crawford, whom she reunited with after their 50th class reunion in 2005; six grandchildren: Abbey, Nick, Steve Jr., Brad, Michael and Heather; and 11 great-grandchildren. Faye is further survived by her siblings: Ted, Mike, Pat and Charlie Gilbert, Della Seymour and Sue Anderson; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Chum, and six siblings: Jean, Tom, Mary Ann, Dorothy, Joanne and Carl.
    Visitation for Faye will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020, at Anderson-Diehm Funeral Home beginning at 3 p.m., until time of the funeral service at 5 p.m., with Pastor Mark Laatsch officiating.
    Burial will be in Cedar River Cemetery in the spring.
