Deirdre Linder, 49, of Carney, Mich., passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. She was born Dec. 15, 1969, in Minnesota to the late Daryl and Karen (Rathke) Johnson.
   Deirdre graduated from Carney Nadeau High School. She married Kenneth Linder Jr. Deirdre worked at Lloyd Flanders. A native of Carney, Deirdre loved watching her children play sports. She loved to garden and created beautiful flower gardens at her home in Carney. She had a generous heart and particularly enjoyed spending time helping out the elderly. Her easy-going spirit will be greatly missed, as will her infectious laughter. She will remain forever in our hearts.
    Deirdre is survived by her husband, Ken of Carney; and their children: Mason, Kage, Chase and Shae; sister, Stephanie (Edward “Hammer”) Chartier; brothers: Tim (Hazel) Johnson, Olaf (Haimamot) Johnson, Matthew Johnson and Erik (Melissa) Johnson.
    Visitation for Deirdre will be Sunday, April 14, 2019, at Anderson-Diehm Funeral Home beginning at 2 p.m. until time of Military Honors conducted by the Stephenson and Carney Legion at 5 p.m., followed by a prayer service with Jerry Piche officiating. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 15, 2019, at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Nadeau beginning at 10 a.m., with Fr. Jacek Wtyklo officiating.
    Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Oakwood.
