Clarence “Chuck” Nason Jr., 78, Menominee, Mich., passed away on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020, at Aurora Medical Center - Bay Area.  Chuck was born on March 12, 1941, in Menominee to the late Clarence and Ruth Nason Sr. 
On June 15, 1991 Chuck married the former Sandra Imhoff in Menominee. Chuck worked as a diesel mechanic at Stang’s, Enstrom Helicopter, was a small engine mechanic at Orpy’s and retired from DeCrane Aircraft as a welder.  He enjoyed racing snowmobiles in the 70’s and was a jack of all trades who could fix anything.  Chuck’s passion was hunting and fishing with his 2 sons.
Chuck is survived by his wife:  Sandy of Menominee; children:  Mark Nason of Wallace, Mich., Michelle Middlestaedt-Bockhorn of Dallas, Texas, and Jeff (Elizabeth) Nason of Perronville, Mich.; 3 grandchildren:  Ava Bockhorn and Max and Lily Nason; sister: Shirley Kwak of Perronville; step children:  Jennifer (Jeff Bush) Hohman of Marinette, Wis., and Suzanne (Rich) Larson of Iron Mountain, Mich.; step grandchildren: Aaron Fankhauser of Kansas, and Madeline Anderson of Dunbar, Wis.; brother-in-law: James (Ruth) Imhoff of Waukesha, Wis.; sister-in-law: Janice Imhoff of New Baltimore, Mich.; best friend: Lester (Gail) Sieglaff of Menominee; special friends: Chris and Katie Baldwin and family of Menominee; numerous nieces and nephews; and his 2 little pals: Beau and Rusty.
Family will receive friends at Cadieu Funeral Home on Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, after 4 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 6 p.m. with Pastor Tom Mackay officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
