Moose Lodge offers fish fry meals

MARINETTE — The Marinette Moose Lodge is having perch fry today for Ash Wednesday. The public is invited to come and have an old-fashion perch fish with perch caught by local commercial fishermen from the waters of Green Bay.

All profits from this perch dinner will be donated to The Salvation Army. The cost is $12.95 per plate or $22.75 for a double order and for the lighter appetite, $11.50 per plate. Serving will be from 5 to 7 p.m.

Upcoming fundraisers that will be open to the public will be March 16, a corned beef and cabbage meal, with the profits being donated to the DAR Boys and Girls Club. March 20, a smelt dinner will be offered, with the profits donated to the Foster Grandparents Foundation in Stephenson.

Bow hunters club to hold fundraiser

STEPHENSON — The Mid County Bow Hunters club is holding a bag-toss tournament fundraiser at Belgiumtown Restaurant, W4346 Belgiumtown Road, Saturday. 

Onsite registration is from noon to 12:45 p.m. with the tournament starting at 1. The cost is $30 for a two-person team entry. The tournament is a double elimination, bracket play with play following the American Cornhole Association. The games will be played in the dining hall and food and drink will be available for purchase. There will be a cash payout for the top three teams and 50/50 raffles. All proceeds benefit the club.

Fruit orders to be distributed 

WAUSAUKEE — Friends of Wausaukee Library fruit orders from their annual fundraiser will be distributed March 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the hallway at the South entrance to the library located at 703 Main St.
