Mardi Gras chicken dinner offered

MENOMINEE — A Homemade Chicken Dinner will be offered Mardi Gras Sunday, Feb. 23, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at St. John Paul II Catholic Academy, 2701 17th St. Dinner plates cost $10 for those 13 and older, $5 for youth ages 6 to 12, and are free for children 5 years old and younger. Desserts and beverages are included. Dinner tickets are available at the door, or may be purchased in advance at Holy Spirit Church parish office, 10th Street and 10th Avenue, Menominee. Those attending should enter the parking lot off 11th Avenue.

Office hours are 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; and 9 a.m. until noon Thursday. People may also call 906-863-5239. All are welcome to attend this event.

Other Mardi Gras Sunday activities will include 50-50 paddles, children's games, bucket raffles and DJ music by John Corry. All winners, including the Holy Spirit Church Big Cash Raffle winners will be announced, commencing at 1:30 p.m.
