Peshtigo selects Badger State attendees

PESHTIGO — Leocadia Biundo, daughter of Frank Biundo and Renee Peth and Alexis Kehoe, daughter of Jason and Stephanie Kehoe are delegates from Peshtigo High School to attend Badger Girls State June 21-26 at UW-Oshkosh.

The delegates to Badger Girls State are sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 312 of Peshtigo and the Peshtigo Women’s Club.

The Badger State Girls candidates are selected by the Auxiliary for leadership, character, dependability, participation in extracurricular activities, high scholastic rating and a written essay.

Grief group offered in Stephenson

STEPHENSON — The OSF HealthCare grief group will be held at the Menominee County Library, S. 319 Railroad St., Tuesday from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

No registration required, open attendance is offered to the community.

Library to hold story time Friday

PESHTIGO — The Peshtigo Public Library is holding a story time and Valentine's Day party Friday at 10:30 a.m.  The program lasts for about 30 minutes and it will continue every Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. until the summer. 

The library will also have a "Penguin Party" Feb. 21 and a "Crazy Crayon Day" Feb. 28.

Book Club will be meet March 2 at 10 a.m. Attendees will discuss the books they’ve recently read and to gather new titles to read.

Peshtigo Library hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
